I was wondering if the warm Ralliart version will be called a Lancer or Galant Fortis, but now we know the answer as Mitsubishi Motors Japan has just announced the Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Ralliart. Read more about the Evo’s younger, less powerful but more affordable sibling after the jump.
A noble effort
The 2007 Mitsubishi Galant Ralliart is a noble effort and it's a hot round that hits closer to the bull's-eye than previous Galant incarnations. We're not sure it's got the ballistics to slay the opposition but it can at least keep their heads down while Mitsubishi chambers something a little newer and more refined. It's got the power, the looks and most of the handling needed to do battle. All that's really lacking is the killer instinct, the fine edge that separates the warrior from the rear echelon.
Fun, Sporty, and Cost Effective are only some of the attributes of this 2007 Mitsubishi Galant Ralliart V6. This is a low mileage well looked after example, it is loaded with great features including a leather interior, Rally Art styling, all weather tires on Alloy wheels, Keyless entry, power windows, power locks, power sunroof, CD player with a large infotainment display, heated seats, Automatic transmission tuned for a sporty driving feel. The Ralliart is powered by a 258-hp version of the Mitsubishi 3.8-liter V-6, moving the vehicle to 100 km/h in a short period of time.
