This is the cleanest 1998 Jimmy SLS you will find. NO RUST NO DENTS !!! This 4x4 SUV has a rare factory "Premier" package installed. NEVER drove in winter and only got caught in rain 4 times! When I bought in 2003 it had 50k the old man said no one even sat in the back seats. He still had the window sticker when he bought it new for over $30k. Now it has 71k and I added some custom rims and a dash dvd player. Still smells like a new suv. We take it out on Sundays on a few other times. Its been parked in heated and air cooled garage and babied. I have the stock rims with NEW tires on them also. Asking $7,250 but will take best REASONABLE cash offer. Thanks

Looking for a 1998 GMC Jimmy repair manual

"I bought my 1998 Jimmy in February of 2001 with 34,000 miles on it. My wife was the primary driver of this vehicle until 2005 when we gave it to our daughter. She drove it through college and her first year of marriage and when she and her husband bought a new car, my son-in-law started driving it. He ran the wheels off of it, and upon their divorce the car was returned to me with some over 168,000 miles on it. Throughout the years that my wife and I had the vehicle it performed flawlessly and gave us no trouble at all. Always reliable, pleasant to drive and very comfortable. We live in Michigan, so the car spent a lot of time in the snow and had occasional forays off road in the upper penninsula and never let us down. It is one of my favorite vehicles of all that I have owned. (some 40 vehicles so far) The dilema I face now is after getting the vehicle back from my ex son-in-law it is going to take about 2,000 dollars worth of work (front end, tires, alternator) to get it back in top notch condition. I hate to give the truck up, but cannot decide if I should fix or sell at this time. In addition to my Jimmy, I currently own a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500 HD, a 2002 GMC Envoy SLT and a 1914 GMC Topkick mid-range commercial truck. Love them all!! I have a Honda Civic and a Chrysler LeBaron ragtop too, but I love my GMCs and plan to get another as my next vehicle purchase."
