My 1998 Ford Ranger XLT P/U turn signals, hazzard flasher and license plate lights no longer work. All fuses check OK. Bulbs are OK. I suspect the flasher may be the problem, however, I'm not certain where it is located and without a replacement is their a way to troubleshoot the problem first?

The fuel filter on the 1998 Ford Ranger XLT traps sediments from the fuel. Without the fuel filter, any debris from the gas tank will travel straight to the fuel injectors and clog up the jets that distribute fuel to the cylinders. Ford recommends that the fuel filter on the 1998 Ranger XLT be replaced every 40,000 to 60,000 miles.
