On Wednesday, a 1992 red Chevrolet Silverado valued at approximately $2,500 was stolen from the front of a home on the 100 block of Harvard Avenue.
My truck is 1992 not 1999, above field only goes to the 99 year.(1992 Chevrolet Silverado 350)will start without a problem and will idle high about 1800-2000 RPM. With in the first few seconds the idle speed will gradually drop to below 800 RPM and stall while in park. last week as I was slowing to make a turn, it stalled while I was moving in the turn (not accelerating at the time). The valve seals need to be replaced and may be a contributing factor but this stalling issue has gotten worse. When put in reverse, it will immediately stall. When in a forward gear, it usually will start moving before it stalls unless I pump the accelerator, then I get a surge forward. I have replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor and the fuel filter. The injectors appear to have an even spray no drips or large drops are seen. When the engine is idling, it runs rough and appears to misfire. The misfire does not have a defined pattern while running.
